You may have already come across a warning somewhere online — about counterfeit herbs, undisclosed heavy metals, or products that don't actually contain what the label claims. Those warnings exist for a reason, and we're not going to pretend the problems they describe don't exist.

This page explains our Six-Stage Quality Control Process — the exact steps we take before any product reaches you.

Our Six-Stage Quality Control Process

1. Our Experience in Chinese Herbal Medicine

Since 2009, we have worked in the traditional Chinese medicine industry, accumulating 17 years of hands-on experience.

Our team works with practitioners (Registered TCM Practitioner | Licensed Acupuncturist | Director, Cardiovascular Disease Hospital), herbal suppliers, and traditional medicine researchers to select formulas based on traditional preparation methods and modern quality standards.

Over the years, we have built relationships with herbal suppliers, manufacturers, and practitioners that help us understand:

  • Traditional preparation methods
  • Product formulation principles
  • Manufacturer capabilities
  • Quality documentation requirements

This experience helps us evaluate products beyond simple descriptions and pricing.

2. Selecting Established Manufacturers

Every herbal product begins with the manufacturer behind it. We focus on established brands with transparent manufacturing information and a documented history of producing Chinese herbal products.

Before listing a product, we review:

  • Manufacturer background and experience
  • Production facilities and quality management practices
  • Ingredient labeling and product documentation
  • Manufacturing standards and certifications, where available

We prefer manufacturers with a transparent production history and established experience in Chinese herbal medicine.

This is also why we do not list every product customers request. Some products come with limited manufacturer information, unclear sourcing, or insufficient documentation — in those cases, we choose not to offer them.

3. Evaluating Product Acceptance and Market Feedback

We list only products that are already well-established and well-received in the Chinese market. Sustained market acceptance is often a meaningful signal of consistent quality and customer satisfaction over time.

We consider:

  • Long-term market presence
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Brand reputation
  • Product consistency

Market acceptance provides useful feedback about a product's popularity, consistency, and customer satisfaction. However, popularity alone is never the only factor we consider.

4. Verified Supply Channels and Product Traceability

Reliable sourcing is essential for herbal products. We work with established suppliers and distribution channels to improve product traceability and reduce the risk of counterfeit goods.

Whenever available, products include:

  • Authentic packaging information
  • Manufacturer details
  • Batch or identification information
  • Anti-counterfeit verification methods provided by manufacturers

We encourage customers to be cautious of products offered at unusually low prices, especially when origin, manufacturer information, or authenticity cannot be verified.

All our products come with traceable anti-counterfeit codes — so you can confirm you received 100% genuine goods.

5. Ingredient and Information Review

Clear information allows customers to make informed decisions. For each product, we review:

  • Complete ingredient lists
  • Product specifications
  • Traditional uses
  • Preparation methods
  • Manufacturer-provided instructions

We aim to provide accurate product information while avoiding exaggerated claims about health outcomes.

6. Continuous Product Review

Quality evaluation does not end once a product is listed. We continue to monitor:

  • Manufacturer updates
  • Product information changes
  • Customer feedback
  • Availability and supply conditions

If a product no longer meets our standards for transparency, reliability, or documentation, we reassess whether it should remain available.

Our Commitment to Transparency

Trust in Chinese herbal medicine is built through careful selection, clear information, and responsible communication.

We do not believe quality should be based on claims alone. It should be supported by transparent sourcing, reliable manufacturers, and a process customers can actually understand.

This is the standard we apply to every product we offer.
